Form D-4 – Complaint for Violation of the Campaign Disclosure Act
Date: 1/2/2019
Description: Any campaign disclosure complaint dealing with a candidate or question of public policy appearing on the February 26 Consolidated Primary Election ballot and received by the Board by Friday, February 8, will be brought to the Board for consideration at the February 20 Board meeting. Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board after Friday, February 8 and up to the date of the February 26 Consolidated Primary Election will be brought to the Board for consideration at the Monday, March 18 Board meeting.

In addition, any such complaint filed prior to February 9 must be personally served (not just mailed) upon all respondents prior to the time the complaint is filed with the Board, and the proof of service on the back of the D-4 Form must indicate that it has been so served. Complaints not having been personally served or lacking the requisite proof of service will be deemed to have been filed after February 8 and will not be heard by the Board until the March 18 meeting at the earliest.

Any campaign disclosure complaint dealing with a candidate or question of public policy appearing on the April 2 Consolidated Election ballot and received by the Board by Friday, March 8, if personally served by the Complainant upon the Respondent, will be brought to the Board for consideration at the March 18 Board meeting. Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board after Friday, March 8, but on or before Wednesday, March 20 , if personally served by the Complainant upon the Respondent, will be brought to the Board for consideration at a special Board meeting (if possible), to be held prior to the April 2 Consolidated Election (date and time TBD). Any such complaint received by the Board after Wednesday, March 20 , and up to the date of the April 2 Consolidated Election, or complaints NOT personally served upon the Respondent, will be brought to the Board for consideration at the April 16 Board meeting, at the earliest.
