The Report of the General Counsel includes among other things, consideration of campaign disclosure items including Appeals of civil penalty assessments, Complaints following closed preliminary hearing, Motions to Reconsider and Settlement offers of civil penalties.  Though it is not certain what time the Report of the General Counsel will commence, the Board suggests interested parties arrive no later than 10AM.  The principal location of the Board meeting is at the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago, located at 100 W. Randolph, Ste: 9-040.  However, as in past meetings, the Chicago location will be connected to the Board’s Springfield office via videoconference.  Please note that the Springfield office is now located at 2329 S. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, IL 62704-4503 beginning 1PM Friday February 10, 2012.  All Springfield office telephone systems will be taken down at that time and remain inoperative until 8AM, Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at which time the Springfield office will reopen at the new location.  Note: A limited number of the Board’s Chicago office telephone numbers, including the main switchboard (312-814-6440), will remain active. The December 2011 Quarterly Report must include all committee activity from October 1st through December 31st. The Board must receive this report by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17th when filing on paper or by 11:59:59 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17th when filing electronically. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This Quarterly Report must be filed by all active political committees; it must be filed regardless of whether the committee has had any activity during that period of time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If filing on paper, reports must be postmarked by Saturday, January 14th to be considered a timely filing if received after the deadline.  &lt;br /&gt;</description><link /><pubDate>1/13/2012</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
