In Illinois, elections for each jurisdiction are administered by the
election authority.
Illinois has 110 election authorities - 101 county clerks, eight municipal boards of election
commissioners, and one county board of elections (DuPage).

It includes listings of the offices to be nominated and/or elected at each election and details
the relevant dates regarding the petition process for candidates and referenda as well as those
concerning the filing of reports on campaign contributions and expenditures under the Campaign
