First day to file petitions for established party candidates
First day for candidates of established political parties to file original nomination papers (must contain original sheets signed by voters and circulators) in the principal office of the State Board of Elections for United States Senate, statewide executive offices, congressional offices, Democratic Party state central committeemen and committeewomen, legislative offices, multi-county regional superintendent of schools and judicial offices, or for any office to be elected by the voters of more than one county.

STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS WILL BE CLOSED ON NOVEMBER 28 & 29 IN OBSERVANCE OF THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS.
First day to file for county offices
First day for candidates of established political parties for county offices to file original nomination papers (must contain original sheets signed by voters and circulators) in the office of the county clerk for county offices, township committeemen (Cook County), and precinct committeemen (in counties containing a population of less than 2,000,000).
Last day for objections to petitions for creation of political subdivision.
Last day to file objections to petitions to create a political subdivision in the office of the appropriate officer, board or circuit court.
