The Division of Voting Systems and Standards has the following responsibilities:

Approval of voting systems for use in Illinois.

Preparation and conduct of pre-election tests of voting systems.

Preparation of referenda profile for each election.

Analysis of vote tabulation system computer operator logs from each regular election.
