Member of the State Board of Elections since May 1998 and served as Chairman
from March 2000-July 2001. Mr. McGuffage graduated from the John Marshall Law
School. He is an attorney with the law office of John P. Fitzgerald in
Chicago. He previously was legislative counsel for the Attorney General's
office from 1983-1994 and was employed by the State Board of Elections from
1973-1982. Mr. McGuffage is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Chicago
Area Public Affairs Group, and Illinois State Bar Association.
